§ 1 INTRODUCTION

Aware Outfitters treats privacy policy issues with due care. We make sure that you do not have to worry about the safety of your personal data. This privacy policy sets out how we will use any personal information that we receive from you. The data we collect from you is stored in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA. For transfers outside the EEA, Aware Outfitters will use standard contractual clauses and privacy shields.

Data processing is understood as activities and operations performed on Users' data, including storage or analysis for the purposes of www.awareoutfitters.com website services. The Customers' personal data will not be sold to third parties, including in particular not transferred to other entities for the purpose of sending third-party marketing materials.

 

§ 3 PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

 

Aware Outfitters processes Users' personal data in order to properly perform the agreements concluded within the framework of the online store, which means that such data is needed in particular for: - register on www.awareoutfitters.com - to execute the sales agreement Personal data provided during the registration of a customer account or when placing an order are necessary for shipping the product. Name and surname, address, e-mail, and telephone number are given to the courier company when sending packages to facilitate contact with the courier and enable the receipt of the shipment. E-mail address is also necessary to send information about next order status and to contact the customer. Each customer, at any time, may request removal of his data from the system. If you agree to receive information about new products and promotions then Aware Outfitters processes your data for marketing purposes. We use Google Analytics and if you agree, we process your data for analytical purposes.

§ 4 WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?

 

We share your personal data with postal and courier operators in the field of delivery, banks and entities providing payment services, providing legal and accounting services to the administrator, and other entities to which the administrator entrusted the processing of personal data on the basis of Article 29 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Furthermore, we transfer personal data to recipients in third countries, i.e. The Rocket Science Group LLC and Google LLC based in the United States, subject to certification under Privacy Shield, which you can check at: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list, in the relationship with which we have made use of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and under which basic guarantees for the security of your data have been established.  Newsletter Customers have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter by providing their  e-mail address, name, surname and consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes and sending commercial information.

Customers can subscribe to our newsletter by providing their e-mail address, name, surname and consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes and sending commercial information. Through the newsletter we inform you about our latest offers. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the link contained in the newsletter you received or by sending an email to: sales@awareoutfitters.com The newsletter is sent for an indefinite period, from the moment of activation until the withdrawal of consent. After the withdrawal of consent, the User's data may be stored in the newsletter database for a period of up to 3 years in order to demonstrate the fact that the User has given consent for communication through the newsletter, the User's actions (e-mail openings) and the moment of withdrawal, as well as possible related claims, which constitutes a legitimate interest of the Administrator (Art. 6(1)(f) RODO) Customer account When creating a Customer account we ask for the following Customer data: first name, last name, e-mail address.

 

§ 6 COOKIES

 

The website of the online store uses "cookies". § 7 INFORMATION ABOUT DATA PROTECTION  IN GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Our websites use the web analytics mechanisms of Google Inc. ("Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA "): Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manger. Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manger use cookies to analyze how users use the websites. The information collected by the cookies is transferred to Google's servers in the USA and archived.
If IP anonymisation is activated during your use of our website, your IP address will be truncated by Google. This applies to Member States of the European Union and other countries listed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In this way, the IP address anonymization function will be active on our website. At the request of the website operator, Google uses the information collected to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website usage and to provide other services relating to internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not stored with other Google data. We analyse your personal data only on the basis of your consent. § 8  DATA RETENTION PERIOD 

Your data will be stored for as long as necessary for us to perform our services or as long as required by law. After that, your personal data will be deleted. We cannot delete your data where there is a data retention requirement (tax, accounting regulations) or where there are other legal grounds for retention, such as an ongoing contractual relationship.

§ 9  DATA PROTECTION OFFICE

 


The Personal Data Controller - Aware Outfitters hereby informs you that it has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and performs the duties related to the processing of personal data independently.
The User acknowledges that his/her personal data may be disclosed to authorized state authorities in connection with their proceedings, at their request and upon fulfillment of prerequisites confirming the necessity of obtaining such data from the Administrator.


§ 10 RIGHTS & REVOCATION OF CONSENT FOR DATA PROCESSING

If the User has given his or her consent to a certain action, such consent may be withdrawn at any time, which will result in the removal of the e-mail address from the Administrator's mailing list and cessation of the indicated actions (in the case of subscription based on consent). The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the processing of data which was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.


In some cases, the data may not be completely deleted and will be retained in order to defend against possible claims for a period in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code Act or, for example, in order to comply with legal obligations imposed on the Administrator.


Each time, the Administrator will refer to the User's request, adequately justifying further actions resulting from legal obligations.
You may request free information regarding the personal data collected and processed by Aware Outfitters by letter or e-mail. You can also revoke your previous consent to the processing of your personal data and request that your personal data be deleted. We will then take the necessary measures to stop processing your personal data immediately and free of charge and remove it from our databases where possible.
